12-15 chicken wings/thigh
3/4 cup bbq sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 medium heaped TEAspoon salt
half teaspoon each of turmeric, cumin, black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
optional - dash of garlic or ginger powder or minced 1 clove garlic/ half inch ginger
Mix all ingredients well and leave to marinate covered in fridge for 2 hours. Mix well before grilling. Use medium heat, as honey tend to burn easily.
Serve with a lemon wedge, cold cucumber yogurt salad, tzatziki
Ps - Believe it or not I already had ALL the ingredients (cept the chicken) already in my fridge. Hehe, not bad huh?
